About Coconut Creek HomestayKumarakom
Coconut creek is an old heritage home, more than 60 years old, is located by the river or the lake side. This home is set on 4 acres of land on the lush and evergreen fields. This heritage home has been converted into the present modern Kumarakom bed and breakfast / homestay.
Coconut creek offers cheap accommodations for the backpackers and budget travellers with the tariff similar to the budget and economical hotels in the area. They can also arrange houseboat trips and cruises in Kumarakom and Alleppey backwaters. This place is very ideal for a family vacation, kerala ayurvedic rejuvenation treatments, massages, bird watching and backwater cruises and of course culinary indulgences.
Accommodation facilities at the Coconut Creek Homestay Kumarakom
Coconut Creek is a bed and breakfast cum inn accommodation homestay which is located near the Kumarakom lake and the bird Sanctuary in the Kottayam district of the state of Kerala.
There are 3 A/c bedrooms attached bathrooms with the modern amenities, dining rooms, living roomscomplete with a verandah and a private sitout to sit and relax at a wonderous and exotic view of the backwaters.
Facilities at the Coconut Creek Homestay
You will be welcomed with a welcome drink as soon as you enter the homestay.
There are different plans available as tariffs like AP ( American ) and EP ( European) plans.
Breakfast is free and the food at other times like Lunch, Tea and Dinner will be served only on request.
You can have hot water at any time you like that is through out the day.
Cable TV, Satellite radio, Washing machine facilities are provided to the guests.
Living room, Verandah and sit out, Dining room are available separately at the homestay
Doctor on call
Maniyara, a traditional bed room decorated with flowers can be arranged on request for honeymoon couples.
Lawn and children's play area are available
You can visit the farm nearby.
There is an herbal Beauty clinic availble but only for ladies.

House boats
Ayurvedic treatment on request
Village safari and Fishing in the lake can be arranged as per request.
Visit to ancient churches, temples and other places of interest, Bird Sanctuary, home to rare Migratory Birds, Museum and also go for shopping in Kottayam for handicrafts and other things and visit the gallery as well.

How to Reach Coconut Creek, Kumarakom
Since The Coconut creek homestay is located in the Kumarakom backwaters of the district of Kottayam you have to reach Kottayam Railway station or the bus stand at first.
The Kottayam Railway station is at about 14 kilometers from the homestay. The closest international airport is at 79 kilometers away. You can also reach Kottayam from Calicut / Kozhikode
You can get hired vehicles from the station or the airport and reach the coconut creek homestay. You can also use bus transport of Kerala state which plies regularly in these routes.
