The Federal Institute of Science & Technology was established in the year 2002 under the management of Federal Bank Officers` Association Educational Society (FBOAES). The mission of Federal Institute of Science & Technology is to transform institute into a professional education centre which trains students with social commitment. The FISAT is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi university and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
The Federal Institute of Science & Technology is providing both post graduate and under graduate courses in the college. The under graduate courses provided at Federal Institute of Science & Technology are:
1) Computer Science & Engineering
2) Electronics & Communication Engineering
3) Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
4) Electrical & Electronics Engineering
5) Mechanical Engineering
6) Civil Engineering
The post graduate courses provided at FISAT are:
1) Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
2) Master of Business Administration (MBA)
The MBA course is provided by FISAT Business School (FBS) and both post graduate courses are also affiliate to M.G university.
The college is having all facilities like hostel, transport facilities, modern labs, library, digital library etc. The FISAT campus at Hormis Nagar is near to Mookkannur a small town near Angamally.
