Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology was established in 1991 under the Government of Kerala. The college was name after the late Prime Minister Shri. Rajiv Gandhi. The college offers both under graduate and post graduate courses. The Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University.
