Tharavadu Heritage Home is the only real heritage home in Kumarakom. The home is located along the banks of serene Kumarakom lake in Aleppy. The layout of Tharavadu home is such a way that you can easily feel the traditional Kerala homes. This is a 120 years old traditional Syrian Christian family home. The homestay which is close to the enchanting beauty of Kumarakom is one of the best place to stay when you visit the most popular tourist destination in Kerala, Kumarakom.

How To Reach Tharavadu Heritage Home
Tharavadu Heritage Home is very easy to reach. You can get there by means of rails, airways, roads and even waterways. Kumarakom has a good roadways. Buses and taxis are available from Kottayam and Kumarakom to the resort throughout the day time. Since, the home is very close to Boat Jetty, you can also reach here by means of boat. Boats are available from Muhamma. You can also enjoy the serene lake in the 7 km journey. The nearest railway station is at Kottayam, 16 km away. Cochin International Airport is the nearest airport. It is only 75 km from Kottayam. From Kochi taxis and bus services are available to Kottayam.
