Mar Athanasius College was established in 1955 at Kothamangalam and is managed by Mar Athanasius College Association. The Mar Athanasius College is popularly known as MA College. The MA college is offering 9 post graduate courses and 13 degree courses. The college is also having 4 regional research centers where Ph.D programs are pursued. The Mar Athanasius College is the first college in Kerala getting an 'A Grade' accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council.
