TRKL- Tourist Resorts Kerala Limited
TRKL is formed under Kerala government and was started in 1989. They are one of the best tour operators in Kerala along with KTDC. TRKL is a subsidary company of KTDC. Nowadays TRKL is working on huge profits and is a leading sector because, Kerala is a main tourist attraction and there are many visitors.
Objectives of TRKL
The objectives of TRKL includes the overall improvement of Kerala Tourism in a joint sector. This also have the objectives to improve the tourism infrastructure and to promote tourist investments.
TRKL Renamed
The honourable Chief Minister of Kerala, V S Achuthanandan renamed TRKL to Kerala Tourism Infrastructure and Investment Company Ltd. This announcement taken place recently.
Activities of TRKL
1. Public-private partnerships
- Function is to develop Public-Private partnership.
2. RE - NRK partnership
- Started Resident Entrepreneur – Non Resident Keralite (RE-NRK) partnership in tourism investments.
3. Government projects
- This is the development of fully government controlled projects.
