The Global Public School is promoted by Global Education Trust, which is a charitable trust in Kochi. The curriculum and programmes in Global Public School is divided into four categories as stepping stones, junior school, middle school and senior school. In the stepping stone and junior school children are given a play way teaching. In the middle school the students are prepared for the competitive exams and the challenges they face in future. In the senior school facilities for improving the knowledge of students is given like research facilities, project works, work shop activities etc.
Facilities at Global Public School
1) Cafeteria - The Cafeteria provides breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner for the students and the menu is changed regularly (usually on monthly basis). Both vegetarian and non vegetarian food items are available in the cafeteria.
2) Transport facilities - Fully air conditioned buses are provided for picking students from all parts of the city and near by areas.
3) Sports facilities - Sports, physical education and swimming are compulsory for all students along with the academic activities. Almost all sports activities are encouraged in the school and some of them includes cricket, football, basketball and athletics.
4) Medical room - Global Public School is having a fully equipped medical room with a nurse.
5) Resource room - The resource room is for providing extra care for students through counseling. The experienced counselors help students to find out there learning abilities and encourage them to achieve a better position.
6) Hostel facilities - The hostel in Global Public school has separate wings for girls and boys. Each student is given a bed, cupboard and other facilities. Recreation areas and study room is also available in the hostel.
Admission in Global Public School
The admission process in Global Public school consists of different steps like submitting application form, screening of form, entrance exams for specific grades etc. The fees should be payed within one week from the issue of admission clearance slip. Orientation classes are also conducted to the new students and parents for giving a better understanding about Global Public school and education.
