Location and How to reach Vythiri Resorts

Vythiri Resorts are located amidst the lush green rain forests and spread across 150 acres. The approach of the resort is unpaved and has a rugged feel which enhances the feel of the jungle as you enter the resort.
To Reach Vythiri Resorts you have to reach calicut / Kozhikode International Airport at Karipur if you are travelling by air. After reaching the airport you have to take prepaid cabs from the airport as you will have to drive for 85 kilometers on the road to kalpetta.
Likewise if you are travelling by train you can reach either Calicut or Kalpetta railway station and take a cab from there. This reort is located on the Mysore road. which is about 150 kilometers from the resort

Tree Houses at Vythiri Resorts

At Vythiri resorts you will wake up to the sounds of the forest if you are staying at the tree house. These Tree Houses are traditionally built by the tribals with the locally available bio degradable materials. At present these have been renovated a little and have been included basic facilities like attached bathrooms etc. There are two types of tree houses here one that lets you climb through the wooden steps and the other has crane lifts to help you get into the tree house.
Early in the mornings you can have the best peep into the life of birds and wild animals from the tree houses.

Accomodation at The Vythiri Resorts

Planter's Retreat are 6 adjoining rooms with a common verandah, built in the typical Kerala type architecture. These tile roofed rooms at planter' retreat have a beautiful view of the lush green surroundings, flowing stream and are inspired by the ancient Keralite traditions.

Serenity Cottages are 18 spacious stream facing rooms which offer the oppurtunity for you to wake up in the morning with the gurgling sounds of the flowing stream. These cottages are self contained and are ideal for a couple or a small family. The floors are tiledand red oxide finished polished floors.

Vythiri Habitat are 4 spacious cottages stream facing just like the Serenity cottages. The only difference is that these have a balcony just above the natural Pool.
