Estuary Island is a famous and luxurious beach resort and is perched on the edge of the estuary placed amongst the lake, sea and the river mmet at a point.

The resort has 71 rooms which can be classified into Estuary premium, Estuary view Cottage and Estuary garden. These accommodations come with first class amenities and services in a relaxed and serene setting, creating a perfect retreat. These rooms have air conditioning, ISD telephone, Satellite television as well as other modern facilities.
Estuary Premium Estuary premium are luxury suites with exclusive designs of wood in the interiors,large king size bed, spacious lounge area, separate bath and shower. The suites are set with all the modern amenities,adjoining central facilities as well as an elegant view of the calm sea.
Estuary View Cottage
Estuary view rooms have spectacular and beautiful views of the sea with all the modern facilities. All the Cottages in the Estaury view category are deluxe rooms with separate bath and shower, private Balcony and most of the other modern amenities.
Estuary Garden
The rooms of the Estuary garden category face the tropical gardens at the Resort which blend beautifully with the lush green landscape. The rooms are tastefully designed and constructed in wood are located just meters from the sea and the sandy beach.
Facilities at the Estuary Island Resort
24 hour front desk, separate out door swimming pool for the adults and kids, 24 hour room service, Ayurveda treatments and consultations, Private deck, Laundry Service, Travel desk, fitness center, boat trips, Easy Money exchange facilities and coneference hall with business facilities.
Business Facilities - The Estuary Island Resort has facilities for staging special events, meetings and seminars. The hall has the capacity to accommodate about 150 persons in the theatre style and 75 persons in the U style arrangement. They have up to date audio visual equipment to ensure that all the functions and meetings end up well. They can also arrange for theme dinner parties to suit the occassion.
You can also take about 5 minutes ride to the beach by boat which is complimentary from the resort.
Day out trips can be arranged if requested to padmanabhapuram palace, kanya Kumari , the southernmost tip of India where the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea meet the Indan Ocean.
You can aso go ing for country boat cruises along the backwaters, go shopping in the city of Thiruvananthapuram for curios, handicrafts, garments and gold jewellary.
How to Reach Estuary Island
The Estaury Island is located at about 32 kilometers from the Thiruvananthapuram international Airport. The airport offers connection flights from many of the cities abroad and almost all the cities in India as well.
The Thiruvananthpuram railway station is well connected by trains from the northern most point Jammu to the southernmost kanya kumari of India. All the trains running throught he area stop at the station.
There are national highways connecting Thiruvananthapuram with other major cities and metros of India. The Road transport buses are well connected to all the near by cities in the neighbouring states Andhra pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
