About Moulana Hospital
Moulana hospital commenced its service in 1990 at Perintalmanna (Malappuram district) with an intention of building up a super specialty hospital with modern facilities and services. The Emergency Department staff at Moulana Hospital responds to those with the most serious acute cases immediately, treating all others in accordance with the severity of their illness or injury. The hospital is equipped with an organized expert trauma care team consisting of very senior medical consultants in the departments like Orthopaedics, Neuro surgery, General surgery, plastic surgery, Cardiothoracic surgery and rehabilitation and physical medicine.

Facilities
There is a well equipped 24 hour working pharmacy with a lot of people for service. Tread mill test machine is available in the cardiology department with efficient doctors and supporting staff. It also has a well facilitated 24 hour working casualty and fully equipped mobile ICU ambulance service. All modern technological facilities are available in the hospital and also advanced 3 Chip Digital Camera for Laparoscopic Surgery, Mastectomy and Breast Re Construction Surgery and Computerized Endoscope – Digital Imaging & Printing System.
They are conducting almost all major surgeries especially CABG, Valve replacement Surgery, ASD Closure, Renal Transplant Surgery, Total Knee & Hip Replacement Surgery, etc… They are also performing Laparoscopic Surgeries and Endoscopic Procedures. We have performed the largest number of Laparoscopic Surgeries in Kerala State including Paediatric Laparoscopic Surgeries. Now they also have started surgery for diabetics under the supervision of Dr. Mohammed Ismail. This is being done only by a few doctors in India.
They have set up an Eye Bank under Eye Bank Association to promote eye donation and corneal transplant. They are also doing a lot of community outreach programs and public health camps to serve the local community

Free Eye Camps- conducting at least 3 eye camps in a month and also conducting cataract surgery
Free General Medical Camps- conducting free camps once in a month.they are doing the laboratory, radiology, and other investigations free of charge
Free Super Speciality Camps- conducting once in 3 months with their super speciality departments.
Free Polio Re-Constructive Surgery Camps- for those poor patients who are detected from the Free Medical Camps
Free Oral and Facio-Maxillary Surgery- conducted once in a year for poor patients
Free Awareness Classes- conducting Awareness Classes (Health Education Classes) to the Students, Teachers Social Workers, Employees, Villagers and so on various subjects, such as Leprosy, Cancer, Aids, Hepatitis-B, Poliomyelitis, Envirolsanitation and ORS etc.
Continuous Medical Education- continuos education programs for doctors and para-medical staffs
Cataract Free Panchayats- doing free surgeries and giving free treatment and supply of lenses on free of cost.
Free Clinic- conducting once in a week for the patients in BPL class
