Dhanlaxmi Bank Ltd is an old private sector bank.Its headquarter is at Thrissur city, Kerala. It was incorporated on 14th November 1927. Amitabh Chaturvedi is the Managing Director and CEO of the bank.It has 272 branches and 449 ATMs.
The bank is focusing mostly on Southern states like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. The Dhanlaxmi Bank has an agreement with Bajaj Alliance Insurance Company Ltd, as their corporate agent. Customers can check the account balances, view transactions, effect transfer on their mobile. They can also request for Cheque books, stop payment instructions, track status and locate ATMs or Branches. The Bank has further plans for facilities to book tickets, pay bills and access credit card details on mobile. The mobile banking system is powered by Zylog Systems. The bank has therefore achieved another transacting channel for the reach of their customers.
| | Posted By: S K Nair Posted Date: 15 Dec 2010 Points: 0 | In July 2010, the foundation is laid for a new Corporate Office for Dhanlaxmi Bank. It is located at Punkunnam in Trichur. With two basements, the 11 storeyed building is proposed to b spread over 1,17,000 Sq Ft and can accomodate 1000 Employees. In Kerala, it is for the first time that facilities like Auditorium, training centre, recreation centre, Gymnasium, Library, Cafeteria etc are provided to the employees. It is also planned to have a Museum for depicting the history of the bank. In the Jan/Feb 2012, the new Corporate office construction is to be completed. The Architects are M/s N M Salim and Associates.
