AWARDS
On 16 December 2010, Union Bank of India was awarded with "Certificate of Recognition" for excellence in Corporate Governance at the 10th ICSI National Award for Excellence in Corporate Governance, 2010. The Award is given in recognition of the good Corporate Governance practices adopted by the Bank and selected by a panel of eminent jury chaired by Hon'ble Mr. Justice R.C. Lahoti, Former Chief Justice of India.
This Award was conferred at a glittering function held at Scope Convention Hall, New Delhi. Shri M.V. Nair, Chariman & Managing Director, Union Bank of India received the Award from Hon'ble Finance Minister, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee.
