Bharath Suresh Gopi
Suresh Gopi was born in 25th June 1959 at Kollam as the Son of Gopinathan Pillai and Ghanalakshmi. He is one of the great actors of Malayalam Cinema. Beyond his excellence in acting, he is also a good singer. He was popularly known among the people of Kerala for his smashing role with stylish dialogues. He was also a National Award Winner for his great acting performances in the movie named Kaliyattam.
His Primary education was completed from Infrant Jesus Anglo- Indian High School at Thangasseri. Then he gone for his higher studies in Fathima Mata National College at Kollam taking graduation in English literature. His spouse name was Radhika and is now settled in Trivandrum.
Suresh Gopi’s Contribution to Malayalam Cinema
Suresh Gopi showed his acting talents from his childhood itself. He was an excellent actor from there. Suresh was introduced in to the big screen with the film Odayil Ninnu directed by K S Sethumadhavan. This was happened during 1965. Then he came back after a while in 1980s with a film named T P Balagopalan M A directed by Sathyan Anthikkad. His act withPadmashri Mohanlal in the film Rajavinte Makan became one of his recognizing films. It was released in 1986. He also acted some good roles in the films such as January Oru Orma, Irupatham Noottandu etc. He also acted with Padmashri Mammootty in the film Newdelhi which was a super hit. He again accompanied Mammootty in Vadakkan Veeragadha, Manu Uncle etc. He again acted in a Padmarajan Film named Innale in 1989.
Suresh has also got some very good films in 1990s. His film history from 1990 starts with a blockbuster film from Siddique-Lal combination named In Harihar Nagar in which he acted as Sethumadhavan. The film was a great success. He also acted in Viji Thampi’s Nagarangalil Chennu Raparkam in 1990. He was at his acting peak since this film onwards. His role as Bharathchandran IPS in the film Commissioner made him a Superstar in the Malayalam film industry and he got the stardom. He also acted in an Andhra movie also which was again a super hit. He also got the national award for best actor in 1998 for his movie named ‘Kaliyattam’. After 2000, he was bit unlucky and only some of his films were noticed. Some of his best films of Suresh Gopi during this time was Thenkasippattanam, Twenty-Twenty, Bharathchandran IPS etc.

He also got Film Critics award for the best actor Thrice and for best supporting actor four times.
