Yes this is a wonderful step providing laptops for teachers in Kerala. This is the best gift for the teachers who are our gurus. I think this step is very good for the development of the teachers and in return the development of the students. If teachers are full of knowledge about what is happening around the globe then they can impart better knowledge to the students they teach.

Now in our schools, teachers have to do several works with the help of computer. details regarding marks/grades and several other information are to be transmitted by the teachers through the Head of the institution via E-mail.

Additionally students are getting trained in the use of computers and they even prepare the school's site. In all these the help of teachers are required. Internet connections and smart class rooms are there in most of the schools.

Thus the school has become almost smart school. Hence the teachers should have the capacity to support the students for which they also should have the facilities to get up dated. So, the lap tops become a necessity to them.
