A technical university to Kerala
The announcement has come from the UDF Government about starting a Technical University in kerala. This university will be in charge of all the Engineering Colleges functioning in the State. There are about 120 such colleges. all these colleges are at present affiliated to different Universities in Kerala.Also it is reported that a Malayalam University will also be started within the State. During the last year of the previous government, two Universities were begun; Veterinary University and Fisheries university. Already there are are seven/eight universities within this small State. Branches of other Universities also function here.
