Should the politicians be careful in choosing the words ?

After lashing out at V S Achuthanandan, minister Ganesh Kumar has now expressed his regrets on the issue. He used bad words against the leader of opposition while talking in a assembly of UDF workers at Pathanapuram. Ganesh said that the most notorious thief is residing in the home of Achuthanandan himself, indicating his son Arun Kumar. The issue became controversy and people criticized Ganesh Kumar despite the political differences. This morning, Ganesh has come to say sorry to VS, considering his age. Ganesh said the excitement of people and himself prompted him to say so. It's not the first time a politician falls into controversy having used bad language against others. The politicians are the servants of people and the country. Hence, people expect some politeness and boldness from them as well. Do you think they have to put a rein on their tounge ?

I fully agree that politicians especially ministers should be careful in using their words. in the instant case Sri Ganesh Kumar has apologized to V S that is OK. He had explained that in the excitement he used the words. In case of the opposition leader, I do not think the remark was inappropriate though it should not have so strong. The opposition leader being a clever man knows several double meaning words and uses against his opponents even if the person is a lady.

He has used worst word, than the one used by Ganesh Kumar, against the father of a martyr who died in protecting his fellow human beings, though he was not on duty for the purpose at that time in Mumbai blast case.

It is not only politicians but also the entire population of our country which boasts as the spiritual leader for the world. Unfortunately we are having only the label now not the spirit of the spirituality.

Politicians should careful about what they are saying; especially to public. Politicians should be model for public. Hence using bad languages or any other corruptions are not be acceptable from their side. Minister Ganesh Kumar apologized for what he said against Opposition leader. He noted that he said like because of the sudden emotion. Anyways he said sorry, but he may not create a controversy if he control his sudden emotions. Especially he is a public representative.

A good cultured society will only be here if authorities themselves keep their discipline.

Anybody who is a public figure should have some control in the use of words when they speak in public. It is expected more from people's representatives. They should have the patience to hear the comments of others, since they are to represent the people.
All political parties should introduce some sort of a code of conduct for their members. People always expect some amount of decency and discipline from them.
Similarly, some constraint must be there for the members of Assembly/Parliament in their behavior.
