India's tour of austalia is ending towards a great disaster. Its former captain sunil gavaskar who reacted strongly to this humiliating performance and asked some senior players to retire from test team.
He reacted to media saying that india have to look forward and not backward. He also clarified that he is not demanding that the entire team along with captain should be axed because of the ill performance of the team.He advised that selectors should take tough decisions. The former captain also expressed disheartenment that indian bowlers outperformed by inexperienced australian counterparts.

The same team was the No. 1 in tests a few months ago. Then none had this demand. Here, Sachin is the top scorer for India in the series. What's the point in demanding his retirement. Out of form players should be replaced, no matter whether they are senior or junior. What needed is not attacking seniors either.
