Lord Ayyappa temple of Sabarimala is a unique place of worship. Here there are no differences as to religion, caste, creed or community etc. Here the preachings of Sri Narayana Guru that there is only one religion and one mankind. In fact it is a step further in Sabarimala. All the devotees who had the vratha and worn the 'Mudra maala' are swamyees or Ayyappas. That is to the effect that the devotee and the lord all are one. When one climbs the 18 steps the first thing to see is the message 'Tha Thwam Asi' meaning that is yourself. In no other place in the world we can see the oneness as much a here in both the letter and spirit.
