Hi friends,
I am very much amazed to see that the wastes that are being produced in the various parts of kerala is being carried to the villages and are dumbed there. Intense agitations were made against this piling up of wastes in the rural areas. One of the examples of these kind of places is the laloor of thrissur district. The villagers of laloor made an indefinite fast, nothing have changed. Vilapilshala is the another example. Almost all cities in kerala having their dumping yard in villages.
As a keralite, what all things have to be made to get rid of this burning issue in kerala? Is there any proper solution?
In my opinion we should take primary action by giving proper guidance to people by pointing out their mistake and giving more suitable solution, like re use of waste material to make bio gas, re use of waste material to make new products etc.
Regards,
GOKUL

Waste disposal has become a great problem for the government. The lack of proper waste treatment strategy is the main problem. Disposing the waste in a less populated areas such as remote villages are not a permanent solution.
