Hai all,
The Kerala Government has approved an amount of Rs.1590 million to the (Delhi Metro Rail Corperation)DMRC for Kochi Metro rail.
The Government of Kerala had asked to DMRC to start preliminary and preparatory works for the proposed Kochi Metro Project.

Yes .. We are hopeful. It is planned to start the work in February 2011. The land acquisition work is already commenced. We have an efficient Collector in Ernakulam, Dr Beena and as far as she has no political interest. I am sure, this project will be a reality. This is the right time to commence in view of the forthcoming Assembly Elections.

The Metro Railway project will be a great boon as far as our state Kerala is concerned. But the project totally depends upon the attitude of the state government.If the dream project come into reality,it would be able to solve the traffic problems in the road.
