Except China all countries are supporting our permanent membership at the U N Security council. China must understand that India is country of rich culture and diversity with a best ranking democratic popular govt at the helm of affairs. US is also firmly backing is and lets see what will happed shortly.

It is well and good that India is able to get the supports from many nations including USA,Britain,Russia etc. But rather than playing with the big names, motive should be to increase the number of supports. Because, it is not the Security council which decides the matter of Expansion of permanent members of security council. But, it is the general assembly where the decisions are taken. In order to pass the resolution, we need the support from 2 by 3rd majority of members in general assemble. That means, we need support from about 130 nation, out of 190s in the assembly. Then it will be possible. Hence we need to get as much as possible supports. Hope this get done and India be inducted into the permanent set of members in the security council.
