KV Thomas Stripped for Statement on Endosulfan

D.Y.F.I Protested against Union Agricultural Minister KV Thomas statement on Endosulfan.Minister remarked that there wasn't any report of death or illness in area due to spraying of Endosulfan in the cashew estates of plantation corporation of kerala.His statement invited widespread protest across kerala.
70 countries across the world have banned the use of Endosulfan in their countries but India did not support the ban of Enosulfan in the international meeting in Geneva.
On 16th Nov 2010 Minister changed his stand on the Deadly pesticide Endosulfan, he remarked that it was not his opinion to not support the ban instead tit was the interest of the Center. This seems to because of the Enormous pressure from the Ruling party of Kerala and from his own party. Opposition Leader Oommen chandy and KPCC president Ramesh Chennilathala expressed their concern over the issue eying coming assembly election
