Today the C.M Achuthananthan Announced the award of the Feasibility study on Thiruvananthapuram-Kasargode & Kochi-Palakkad Rail Corridor has been given to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation , which will be funded by Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation

These Rail Corridors are between Thiruvananthapuram-Kasargode and Kochi-Palakkad
