Chalo Kerala, Go Kerala

January 17th, 2010 was a very special day for the Thiruvananthapuram - Rajdhani Express, because the journey on that day was not an ordinary journey as the train contains the images and banners representing the beauty of Kerala with beautiful beaches, backwaters, hill stations, tourist spots, wildlife and sanctuaries.

Union Tourism Minister Kumari Selja and Kerala Tourism Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan attended the function and they flagged off this very special and colorful train, wilt slogans "Chalo Kerala" and "Go Kerala" branded on the train.

The reason for this very special train is to market the tourism of Kerala all over the country and so this train will run for 6 months across various states like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi and it is expected that more than 3 crore people will use this train.

Everyone knew that Kerala is god's own country and also the first tourist attraction of India and with these added marketing features we can expect more tourists preferring Kerala.
