Akkulam Tourist village is a big picnic spot.

AKKULAM TOURIST VILLAGE:

Akkulam Tourist Village is located about 10 km from
Thiruvananthapuram in Thiruvananthapuram District, Kerala.
A backwater destination and a beautiful picnic spot.
This spot was developed on the banks of Akkulam Lake,
as an extension of the Veli Lake. It has Boating facility,
swimming pool, a paddle pool and a well equipped children’s park.
Boat rental facility is open from 10:00 to 17:00 hrs
and children’s park is open from 09:30 to 19:30 hrs. Akkulam
Tourist village is close to the southern air command of the Indian Air Force.

The nearest airport is Trivandrum International Airport (8km)
The nearest railway station is Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station(11 km)
The nearest Junction is Ulloor.
