Chutney powder: Kerala Style - Side Dish Recipe

Chutney powder is a favourite among Dosa and idly and mixed with the gingelly oil will give an extradinary taste for the Chutney powder.


Recipe for Dosa - Chutney powder:

Preparation Time: 30 - 45 Minutes
Serves - Depends upon the use,

Ingrediants for Dosa - Chutney powder:

Urad dal - 3 cup
Gram dal - 1 cup
Dry chilli - 25-30 Ea
Rice - 2 table spoon
Asafoetida powder - To taste
A few curry leaves
Whole pepper or pepper powder - A Few
Salt to taste

Dosa - Chutney powder Preparation Method:

Combine and roast urad dal, chilli and pepper.

Once done add curryleaves with the above combination and roast for few minutes.

Now roast the rice and gram dal seperately. once it's cooled down, Add salt and make powder with all the previously roasted ingrediants.

Transfer the powder in to a air tight container for further use.
