BSE Sensex Today Up by 184.17 points! 21000 before Diwali ? Late Hour Pickings Raises Sensex Today

of The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex at closed at 20045.18 points today giving it a further push of 184.17 points or 0.93 percent increase over its previous close of 19861.01 points. The Sensex which opened at 19836.43 rose to a high of 20071.75 points and low of 19833.52 before closing at 20045.18 points.

The Sensex which opened at 19836.43 rose to a high of 20071.75 points and low of 19833.52 before closing at 20045.18 points. The surge in the index was due to robust buying in the last one hour of the trading session on Friday. The main gainers in A Group included IDFC, DLF, Federal Bank, Everest Kanto, and Central Bank. The main losers in A Group were Financial Tech., Tech Mahindra, Ispat Industrries, Mundra Port, and BEML. The next week will see some more action. Analysts feel that the Sensex will cross 21000 before Diwali this year.

Likewise Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) also witnessed similar trend. Nifty opened the day at 5050.45, reached a high of 6029.10 and low of 5951.20, before closing at 6018.30 at the end of Friday's Trading session. The Nifty increased by 58.75 points or 0.99 percent over the previous close. The major gainers in Nifty were DLF IDFC HINDUNILVR BHARTIARTL UNITECH losers being JINDALSTEL STER TATA MOTORS TCS CAIRN
