Vilangankunnu situated 7 Kms from Trichur is a good Amusement park with amusement rides for children. The Tourism Department join hands with State Medicinal Plants Board to make this Hill station more and more greenery.

Trichur town is the Cultural city of the State, Kerala. Trichur is very famous for Trichur Pooram and a plethora of temples like Vadakkunathan temple, Thirumvambady temple, Paramekkavu temples, apart from very old Churches and Mosque. This town is also surrounded with beautiful tourist spots and one among them to the recent list is "VILANGANKUNNU". This is just 7 kms from the Trichur Town. A panoramic hillock has now been converted as a tourist sport and the hills here have been meticulously converted as an Amusement park/Childrens' Park. Here you can find something or the other for all. Elders can enjoy viewing the scenery beauty from the hill tops while children can have the amusing rides.

One can get a bird's eye view of Trichur from his hill top. The visitors can get solitude and privacy here which is something special about this spot. The kol wetlands can be viewed from the hill top which is a treat to watch and enjoy. Lot of amusement rides are offered for the children to relax and play. One can here enjoy the scene of Sunset. The Tourism department have joined hands with the State Medicinal Plants Board to make this Hill station as more greenish and in future, this will be a notable tourist place in Kerala. One can reach here by travelling 5 kms from Trichur on the Trichur-kunnamkulam road and this Park is open from 7 A.M to 7 P.M.
