The year 2010 is to fold up her wings shortly - i.e. 31 days, 6 hours and 40 minutes to be precise as I sit before my PC for this note. As usual, the year 2010 has been a culmination of achievements, and a review of the past eleven months would reveal that our Country, India is forging ahead to be a super power in all aspects. A power with which the existing Super powers like USA, China, Japan, Briton will envy on us - the people, our civilized culture and above all, unity even in adversity. On this count, let we - the Indians - forget the divide and rule policy imprints of the Britishers and remain united disregarding the colours of the political flags, caste discrimination, religious differences and above all, let us express hospitality to its core without mincing sweet words. We have our own cultural background which no nation in the World can boast of and the year 2011 should unveil such cultural qualities in us to the brethren world. The advancement in technology will surge us ahead in 2011 in all fields.
 Let us try to forget the bloodshed pages of the calendar 2010 which on delving deeply will reveal that we, Indians are worse than the Kapppiris of the ancient period. Volumes can be written through these pages on nepotism, corruption, lawlessness, favoritism, dirty politics, swindling of finance, unearthing of plethora of scandals and subsequent enquiries, cold blooded murders, inhuman activities of underworld dons etc etc. We the Indians should pledge themselves that one will not be party, directly or indirectly to any of the wrong doings of the year 2010 and that may the sheets of the calendar of the year 2011 be not smeared with blood or stains of any other wrong doings.

Tku sujith. I know, the importance of such a vernacular calendar particularly for a Marunadan Malayalee as I was in this attire a decade ago. Though this resource had maximum traffic, as is understood, you are only the second responder. That is true MALAYALISM ! They enjoy but reluctant to ack. Thanks again and rgards
