Ramesh chennitala was born on 25 may 1956,chennitala, mavelikara, kerala, India.He is the son of late Ramakrishnan Nair. He was elected a Member of Parliament thrice and was also a Kerala State Cabinet Minister at the age of 27 under mentor ship of late K. Karunakaran.
