Amrita TV's very special musical entertainment show 'Super Star- The Ultimate' is on the track which had been well designed for the interest of the people. Bringing tough competition to other reality shows, Super Star- The Ultimate' would become an unique platform where the young generation would perform before the much experienced musicians. Selected 22 talents between the age of 16 and 30 will perform their best in the most attractive musical reality show in Malayalam channels. Amrita TV Super Star The Ultimate Music reality show will be telecast at 7 PM -8 PM from Monday to Friday. 
The stage of Super Star – The Ultimate specially designed by well renounced Stage designer Sabu Shivan is a blend of Sabu's creativity and perfection which seems to be unique in all perspective. For the first time in the history of television channels, here comes 360-degree stage covering 10,000 sq ft well set stage which is being set at Asia's largest shoot floor at Chithranjali Studio, Trivandrum. Video walls to create a multi dimensional view, Mirror Museum and spectacular lighting arrangements makes us feel to be in heaven. The colour combination of the set is being properly blended with the unique colour tone of the channel.
The judging panel of the show consists of eminent musicians like playback maestro, P.Jayachandran, well known music composer Sharreth, and playback singer Rimi Tomy. The presence of P. Jayachandran would add more confidence to the contestants to learn more while going through different stages of the competition.
In the musical programme Super Star – The Ultimate, there are 6 levels, with three rounds in each level. The first round titled as 'Right Here, Right Now' features latest Malayalam songs. The next level titled as 'Upbeat' would feature fast numbers. The first level rounds will be a tribute to the late music director Johnson. The contest will become tougher as the contest goes to the next level. Unlike other reality, this musical show will not have SMS voting system for a contestant, but purely depend upon the performance of each contestant.
