Diamond Necklace is an upcoming Malayalam movie which is directed by Lal Jose. The film is produced by Lal Jose's own company. Amala Paul, Samvritha Sunil are doing the lead roles. The film deals with a different relationship of a man with three women. Fahad Fazil is the male lead.

Diamond Necklace is the new Malayalam movie which will have Fahad Fazil playing the lead. The film will be directed by the veteran director Lal Jose after his successful venture Spanish Masala.The film will have heroines Samvritha Sunil, Amala Paul and debutant Anusree.

Lal Jose in this film tries to explain the modern day relationships between the young boys and girls. The relationship of a guy with entirely different women will be showcased in the film.Fahad Fazil after his return to Malayalam has been getting some good roles. But this film will be first film in his comeback where he play the solo lead. He had done some commendable performances in films like Cocktail,Pramani, Padmashree Bharath Saroj Kumar an Chaappa kurishu. This new venture will mark his return to Malayalam cinema as the solo hero.

Samvritha Sunil will play one of the heroine in the film. Samvritha have busy schedules that include the projects of the likes of shyamaprasad's alike opposite Dileep. Further there are reports that claim that Samvritha would get married in 2012. So diamond necklace might be one of the last films in her career as the heroine. Amala Paul comes back to Malayalam after her debut in Lal Jose film Neelathamara. Later she went on to become a much needed heroine in various projects in Tamilnadu. It is only logical for her to make her dome back through the film of the director who introduced her to films.

Lal Jose who have introduced a lot of new heroines to Malayalam through this film too brings another girl to the film indutry. The new heroine to malayalm Anusree is familiar to Malayalam tv viewers as she was the winner of the reality show Big Break aired in Surya TV. The film will mark her entry to the Malayalam film industry. The film will also have veteran actors Jagathy Sreekumar and Sreenivasan in vital role throughout the film. Lal Jose after Classmates was a director who deemed respect of all the Malayalam film goers loved him for his change in themes and his willingness to experiment from the known tracks of Malayalam cinema. His films like Arabikadha, Spanish Masala were entirely filmed outside India. This new film Diamond Necklace also will be entirely shot in the various locations of Dubai.

The film script has done by the well known script writer Iqbal Kuttipuram and the camera will be done by Sameer Thahir. The 4 lyrics for the film has been penned by the most busy poet in Malayalam Rafeeq Ahmed and the music will be done by Vidyasagar. The film is expected to be release in may 2012.
