Ozhimuri malayalam movie directed by Madhupal

Ozhimuri is an upcoming malayalam movie which is going to be directed by actor turned director Madhupal. The most impressive thing is that story,script and dialogues are done by famous tamil writer Jaimohan. Lal,Asif Ali,Swetha Menon,Bavana,Jagathy Sreekumar are the actors present in the movie.

Actor turned Director Madhupal has launched his new film Ozhimuri. The screenplay of the movie will be written by Jaimohan who has earlier written scripts for acclaimed films like Angaadi Theru and NanKadavul. In fact the theme of the story is based on the various short story writings of Jaimohan himself.

Madhupal had earlier directed the movie Thalappaavu which had Prithviraj and Lal playing the central characters. The movie was appreciated well for it portrayed the story of naxalite Vargheese and developed from it. The movie showed the naxalism that was prevalent in Kerala many years back. The film became one of the most memorable films for the actor Lal when he won the Kerala State award for the best actor in the film. Madhupal who was forced to do less valued roles in Malayalam film industry throughout his career proved his worth through this film which was definitely one of the moist critically acclaimed movie of that year.

This time again Lal will come back to work with Madhupal and the film will have Asif Ali in the lead.The film will revoke memories of salt n pepper where Lal and Asif Ali played the lead which became one of the most discussed movie of 2011. Asif Ali and Lal will have Swetha Menon as their Salt N' Pepper actor Swetha Menon as one heroine while Bavana and Padmapriya will be other two heroines. Madhupal had waited long for an interesting theme to direct and had to wait long until Jaimohan arrived with a story that demanded his attention.
The star cast of the film will include the likes of Lal, Asif Ali, Bhavana Padmapriya, Swetha Menon and Jagathy Sreekumar. The film will also have a series of new comers who will be auditioned by the crew. Through this film Madhupal hopes to introduce around 65 youngsters to Malayalam film industry. The shooting for the film will start by April 2012.
