Upcoming malayalam movie Mayflower which is going to be directed by Ranjith Shankar features Prithviraj and Jayasurya in lead roles. The Movie will be a romantic musical one. Film also features Kalabhavan Mani in a key role.

May Flower is the new Malayalam movie which will have Jayasuriya and Prithviraj playing the lead. The movie will be directed by Ranjith Shankar. The movie will be a romantic love story with a necessary theme.

Ranjith Shankar had got a warm welcome in Malayalam with the film Passenger which had Sreenivasan and Dileep in the lead. The movie was an off centric film which did not raise much expectation. But when the film released the support the film got from the common public was outstanding making it a super hit. The director was himself branded as the ambassador of change. Soon he committed himself to another project with Prithviraj and Anne Augustine in the lead. The movie was titled Arjunan Sakshi and had one of the best themes a director could ever lay his hands on.

The movie discussed the issue of traffic troubles in the state and the growing land acquisitions that is pinning down the development of the country. But the film was an utter disappointment at the box-office. The film was criticized for its lack luster script that downplayed the characters and further the climax and the action sequences in the film took a beating from the critics.

It is in this scenario that Ranjith Shankar has plane his new project may flower. The film as the name suggest is all about love, initially Prithviraj and Fahad Fazil was roped for the title roles, but now it seems that the popularity of Jayasuriya as the rising actor who looks for roles with a difference has helped him to get the role along with Prithviraj. So it is after some time that the 2 established young stars of Malayalam cinema will join hand s together to work in a film.

The movie will have 5 music numbers as the film has the theme as romance at its core. The music for the film will be composed by a new music composer named as Anand Madhusoodhanan.

It will be good to watch the 2 stars together on the same screen after some time. The movie will be a treat to watch.
