Mar Athanasius College of Engineering Ernakulam is one of the forges in the field of engineering in the Central Kerala in the year of 1961. Mar Athanasius College of engineering is located in Kothamangalam in Ernakulam district in Kerala. This is the first college, which is affiliated under the University of Mahatma Gandhi, MACE. Totally, the campus is spread over 25.3 hectares of land. The whole college is built up with 12765.51 sq.m, which will be comprised with instructional, administrative and the functional blocks. Similarly, some wide area will be allotted for the workshops and the laboratories. Nearly, 20000 sq.m is allotted for the playground, where the students can play well and earn the curricular powers. 85% of merit seats will be filled by the Government of Kerala, which will conduct an All India Entrance Examination for the B-Tech and MCA. The remaining 15% of seats will be filled by the management, which will also be based on the rank scored in the Entrance Examination. Hence, the seats will be purely based on the performance of the students in the Entrance examinations. The Master degree program's qualification will be varied and it is also based on the corresponding examination, conducted by the Government of Kerala.
