Salam Palapetty makes Mohanlal, Asif and Fahad ‘Red Wine’ addicts
Red Wine malayalam movie will be the directorial debut of Salam Palapetty who will start his maidian project with Mohanalal. Young charming actors Asif Ali and Fahad Fazil will play lead roles along with Mohanalal sharing screen space with the actor for the first time. Salam Palapetty who worked as the assistant of Lal Jose from Meesha Madhavan till the recent release Ayalum Njanum Thammil is becoming an independent director with Red Wine.
The year 2012 will be truly blessed with a handful of promising movie makers and actors with adoring personality who put their foot strong onto the field keeping their head high. Most of them had established their presence from their debut venture itself. A bunch of film makers along with fresh artists had kept the wind blowing to the other side taking the opportunity to scale their performance behind and in front of the camera. It is much encouraging to watch the experiments done by the young generation.
With more than 2 solid months to go, the movie industry could produce more than 100 releases during the time. The attempts made by the young film makers will get a round of applause. If the year 2012 would be credited as a period of young generation movies, the coming year would be balanced with mega projects with super stars in lead. Both Mammootty and Mohanalal do have a comfortable line up of committed projects to be done in 2013.

The movie titled as 'Red Wine' will feature young charming actors Asif Ali and Fahad Fazil sharing screen space with Mohanalal for the first time.
Salam Palapetty who worked as the assistant director for Lal Jose starting from Meesha Madhavan till the recent release Ayalum Njanum Thammil will become an independent director with 'Red Wine'. Mohanlal dons the character role of a person who accidently enters the life of the both Asif Ali and Fahad Fazil. The incident that happens later adds rest of the story. Unusual patterns used in depicting the story thus became the real hero which really attracted Mohanlal and Fahad to join the project.
Salam Palapetty having a long experience behind the camera aims to make his directorial debut a dream success. The camera will be cranked by Pradeep Nair. Maman K Rajan, the script writer also has long years of association with camera. Maman credits of working as a writer and director for 3 telefilms tilted Jingle Bells(2004) Dhooram(2007) and Juveirayude Pappa(2009).
He also worked as assistant director to Ranjith Shankar for 'Arjunan Sakshi' and 'Molly Aunty Rocks.' The story,screenplay and dialogues will be handled by Maman himself. Gireesh lal who earlier produced the movie 'Outsider' will produce 'Red Wine' under the banner of Gawri Meenakshy films.
For the lyrics of Rafeeq Ahmed, Biji Bal will set the tunes. 'Red Wine' which comes under the genre of thriller will have four heroines. The names of the actresses and the complete cast will be announced during the pooja of the movie. The shooting of the movie will happen at Wayanad and Kozhikoide while the movie will go on floors in December. The movie will be wrapped up in the first quarter of 2013 and will hit theatres before Onam.
