An amazing fruit for your healthy body-Tomato
Hi Urmilesh,
Eating tomatoes as well as eating more green leafy vegetables and vegetables with seeds like ladies finger,Brinjal does increase the consumption of oxalate which is a very important component of calcium stones. However only 10% of urinary oxalate is coming from indigested products.90% of urinary oxalate comes from body's own formation.Studies have proved that it is a common myth that intake of tomatoes increases the risk of kidney stones in a person. The truth is that intake of tomatoes with green vegetables is good for preventing kidney stones. To some extent it is good for curing kidney stones.
In India Doctors advice patients who have kidney stones to cut down the consumption of tomatoes. It all depends on the type of stones.Consuming too much oxalate or uric acid, excess vitamin C,Vitamin D,certain medications, metabolic diseases and drinking less fluids may lead to renal stone formation. The most important thing is to drink plenty of water every day.
Tomato is "Poor man's Apple".It won't harm your body.
Regards,
Asha

Tour to Kodungallur
It is a good description about kodungallur. I think people travelling by air may use the nearest international airport at Nedumbassery, Ernakulam which is about 30 kms from Kodungallur.Tourists coming to visit Cheraman Juma Masjid by road may use the nearest bus stand of Kodungallur, located at a distance of 3km.
