Pravasi Kerala Holiday Tour Package
The package includes a tour six major tourist destinations of Kerala. They are Trivandrum, Aleppey, Kumarakom, Thekkady, Munnar and Kochi. The package almost covers the places of best attractions in Kerala. It is almost a nine day tour. The transportation, food and accommodations are provided by KTDC itself. What you have to only do is enjoy your maximum.
Itenerary of the Package
To enjoy the Pravasi tour package of KTDC, the tourists are requested to reach Trivandrum International Airport or Trivandrum Railway Station. The tour authorities will pick you from there. It is a 9 day package which includes 8 nights and 9 days.
Day 1 : The tourists arrived on the Trivandrum Railway Station or Airport are invited from the KTDC tour authorities, and the visitors are sent to Kovaalam. They can enjoy the fascinating beauty of Kovalam beach and can have a peaceful accommodation in hotel Samudra.
Day 2 : In day 2, The tourists are supposed to have a package to other tourist places in Trivandrum which include Padmanabhapuram Palace, Padmanabhaswami Temple, Veli backwaters, Shangumukham beach, Zoo and Museum, Sree chithra Art gallery etc. The accomodation in 2nd day is also in hotel Samudra.
Day 3 : In day 3, the tourists are proceeded to Aleppey. The visitors can enjoy the backwaters of the 'Venice of the east'. This is an ideal place boat riding and they are provided also. The tourists can enjoy a peaceful Houseboat ride in the serene backwaters of Aleppey. The stay of day 3 is in the A/C houseboat itself.
Day 4 : In day 4 the tourists are again transferred in to the beautiful backwaters of Kumarakom. Tourists can also visit Kumarakom Wildlife Sanctuary and can have a bird watching trip. This is one of the places in which Kerala is incredible. The day in Kumarakom backwards will surely be a memorable day in your life. The food and accommodation in day 4 is arranged at hotel Waterscapes.
Day 5 : In day 5, The tourists are moved to Thekkady, which is one of the best hill stations of Kerala. The tourists can have a beautiful sight seeing there in Thekkady. Thekkadi Wildlife Sanctuary is another destination to watch. And in day 5 the halt is at hotel Aranya Nivas.
Day 6 : Day 6 includes a visit to Munnar, which is one of the world famous tourist places in Kerala. Munnar is considered as the Kashmir of south. The sight seeing in Munnar will be an authentic experience to the tourists and it also provides a chance to interact with the nature. The food and accommodations in Munnar is arranged in Tea Country Resort.
Day 7 : Day 7 include sight seeing in Munnar. The tourists can enjoy the charming beauty of Munnar in the background of green lushy mountains. It also include a visit to tea plantations of Munnar. The Indo Swiss diary farm project, the lake and the dam are other sights to watch. The excellent sight seeing in Munnar provides some unmemorable moments in your life.
Day 8 : A visit to the 'Queen of Arabian Sea', The Kochi. The package offers a visit to all tourist destinations in Kochi which include Bolgatty Palace, Thrippunithara Palace, Marine drive, Fort Kochi etc. Kochi is a perfect place for shopping which contains some beautiful Malls. The stay at Kochi is in Bolgatty island resort.
Day 9 : It is the departure. The tourists are transferred to Kochi Airport or Railway Station for their return journey.
Transportation and Accommodation Charges
Package cost for 2 person, transfers in A/C Indica car include Rs. 44,435, and for non A/C cars it is Rs. 42,335. Extra person rate is Rs. 9,325 and for child it is Rs. 4,790. Package for 4 persons with transfer - A/C Qualis/ Tavera is Rs. 73,230, and in non A/C Qualis/ Tavera is Rs. 69,425. Food and accommodation rent are as per the hotels concern. Each of them are having different rates but are marginal. Check out and check in times in the hotel is 12 noon including houseboats. The entry fee inside the sanctuary, forests and boating are excluded. The overall base package price is about 1.5 lakhs.
