    Ganguly to play for Pune Warriors in ipl 4!

    Putting all rumors to an end Dada is to play for Pune Warriors in ipl season 4. Ganguly play for Pune replacing Asish Nehra who is suffering from injury.
    It have been told that dada is going to play for Kochi in place of Jayawardene. Pune was suffering from 6 losses from 8 maches. They belive this dream alive of ganguly will help them.
    Is the presence of dada necessary for pune? Who else do you think will fill the absence of Jayawardene for Kochi?

    Yes, this was really interesting news. Nobody bid for Dada during the IPL 4 auctions. Then he refused the mentor's role for the KKR team & the IPL officials turned down the Kochi Tusker's request for signing him on to their team. Pune Warriors' application, though, was accepted as they wanted him to replace Nehra who injured his finger.

    What is the point,though, of signing him up so late? Why on earth didn't the Pune Warriors team director take Dada during the auctions? Was it because they wanted Yuvraj as captain and did not want a clash of egos? As it is, now the PWI team is in last position & Dada entering into the fray is hardly likely to push them into contention for the playoffs.

    Dada - Sourav Ganguli is back to the fields, now to play for Poona Warriors in the I P L season 4. He was one of the 3 best captains of cricket teams in India, along with Kapil Dev and Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

    He was the captain of KKR team of IPL till this season. In this season when the auction took place for the players, no team wanted him including his own state team. There was lot of controversy about his non inclusion in any team. Many cricket lovers wanted him to be in any one of the teams.

    However, just like the game is subject to the element of luck, selection of players are also subject to luck in their selection. Take the case of Dhoni. He was on top of the cricket world after the victory of world cup. Immediately after that in the auction, there were players who got higher amount than him. So Ganguly's non selection is not of any surprise.

    Now he was requested by the Pune team to join them and Sourav has accepted the offer and is going to play for Pune. When players from outside India is selected by teams, surely one of them could have selected him.

    Let us hope he take this opportunity to prove his mettle in the Pune team.

    It is very good news for Sourav Ganguly his supporters and his fans. He is very good player and his experience of captaincy will be helpful for Pune warriors
