Happy birthday lalettan!
Malayalam film industry's best actor, Mohanlal, turns 51 today, and it is believed that the celebration will be a private one, including only family and close friends. However, his fans are requesting for a grand function at his home town and capital state of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram.Lalettan, who has been considered for the National Award several times, in spite of winning four already, three for his acting and one for his production house, is a favourite for several in the industry itself. Mani Ratnam,a well known director had mentioned that he would not work with anyactor of whom he is a fan of because he forgets to mention cut after a scene, and Mohanlal is one among them.
According to Ram Gopal Varma, who calls Lalettan as Robet De Niro of Indian cinema, the celebrations will happen in Chennai, in the presence of his wife Suchithra, and children, Pranav and Maya, apart from a few close friends and relatives. He along with a few close friends from the industry, including, Priyadarshan, M G Sreekumar, Ashok Kumar, Manianpillai Raju and Co, will have a secret getaway to a secret place in Chennai to celebrate the occasion. Talk about a runaway birthday boy!
