    Kseb hard blow to consumers

SEB'Scalculation of 200 units for a house per month is not rational.average middle class who doesnt use an airconditioner in the scrotching heat is 280 units.the electricity production in kerala is from free source, water. still the govts insensibly multiplied the salaries of kseb employees without linking it to productivity or break even. as a result this goldmine is in heavy loss. ofcourse the highest paid corporation in kerala is KSEB.while atomic power plants can resolve the power crisis problm in kerala where repetitive fuel is not required, only maintenance costs will incur since environmentalists doesnot allow for more hydroelectric power projects. in this situation govt should liberalise the production right of electricity to private enterprise.using waste fluid from alcohol distilleries, up to 10MW power can be produced as the waste from alcohol factory is free since as per pollution control regulation, this waste fluid called spentwash cannot be flown to rivers or buried in soil .let them allow us to prosper.

We cannot blame KSEB for implementing additional charges because we didn't got the expected rain fall due to the change of climate in Kerala. But they should have found another solution to solve the crisis.
