    Ipl and metro

If the peple who invested 1550 crore rupees for IPL KOCHI,INVESTED THIS MONEY FOR COCHIN METRO PROJECT ON BOT BASIS,THEY COULD HAVE MADE MONEY AS WELL THE COUNTRY'S DEVELOPMENT COULD HAVE BEEN ENCOURAGED

IPL is a big business which brings more profit to the team owners. If they invested there money in Cochin metro project they will be facing many problems like delay in government papers, problem with workers etc. There is no guarantee for there invested money since its a government project.
I think Kerala IPL team can also bring some development to the state like new stadium in international standards and more sports academies. More players from Kerala will also get an opportunity to expose there talent to the world.

THERE IS NO PROBLEM FOR WORKERS IN KERALA as all manual worker are bengalis and biharis apart from tamils.for bengalis, what wage he gets here is three times what he could get in bengal. the workers include bangladeshis as well

That's true there is no problem when the workers are not from Kerala. The workers from other states are getting less wages and they are not at all complaining or creating problems in the work fields. But I think that's not the case with workers from Kerala.

that is the problem of communism here. china produced rice is available for 7 rs a kilo in international market. just imagine how much monetarily it could have helped the chinese farm labour. using thumb rule, maximum of 2 rs per kilo is their labour cost.30% crop, it mean,3000 kgm of paddy from 10 cents land, meaning 600 kgm of rice.to produce 600 kgm of rice he got 1200 r. here it is 3000+Rs. so there lies the clue.moreover kerala govt could have imported rice from china since centre govt removed all duties on rice and sugar import.why they are nt doing it. tamilnadu brought 200000 colour televisions from china for around 1100rs a set from china and distributed to bpl families(14inch).

After all they are business men. They want to get their money back. And they know that the way Government works are done. If they have invested the same money for Cochin Metro Project they won't get back their money from next year onwards. In fact,it wont be completed for next year. But IPL is different. It is always a profitable business. It enjoys the participation from all parts of the world. It has got a wide publicity than the Cochin Metro Policy. And if they really want to invest for Cochin Metro Policy, they can use the profit of coming IPL.
