Posted Date: 28 Apr 2010      Posted By:: T.M.Sankaran     Member Level: Gold    Member Rank: 25     Points: 1   Responses: 6

April 27 saw another 'Harthal' in Kerala as part of a nation wide one. The organizers claim it was against the price rise. How do these two correlate?

Nowadays, Hartal is for anything and everything in Kerala. The great politicians don't want to know why the issue is or what is the cause of the issue. They want to celebrate hartal for all the issues.

The fact you pointed out is absolutely true. Even small hartals are leading to the price rise. This will make the common man to face hurdles to get the necessities. And there are many cases in which hartals denied the patients too.

If I am right, this hartal was conducted by none other than our State Government. Then why should we criticize others when the head itself is doing like this?

I can't see our state grow up to the standard of other south indian states at least in the next 10 years unless such unnecessary strikes are avoided. Well, for that we also need to have a courageous leadership, which unfortunately we don't have as of now!

Still we are not free from hartals. We are going to celebrate another hartal on Monday. Just one week before we celebrated one, don't forget.
Kerala can afford it, that is what is stated by a senior leader !
Is this making any difference in the situation ? Will it any way reflect on the oil price? Just ponder on this issue.

Hi Friends,
We are going to have one more hartal on tomorrow for fuel rice. We had a hartal for this reason last week also. And this is not accepted by any of the Kerala people except the so called people of ruling government, LDF.

We may the no. in educational level. But it is not seen in any other places. The Manipur government with the ruling party as LDF, avoided the hartal as they had one in the last week. But this is not the situation here. Why our government is not making decisions like this?

Hartals in recent future will be declared as the National Festival of India...

I don't think the present politicians are capable of running a government..The Supreme court has to take real ,initiative to stop this inhumane activities. People are fed up with the different sort of hartals...A question to the political figures...

Have any of the demand proposed by the political party who declared the Hartal was accepted by the Central Government. The answer is a big No. Then why did they try to blame the government..

The answer is simple..Just polishing the mind of the voters.. So in short Hartals are good for those who wish not to do anything..
