In most parts of Kerala rain with heavy wind , lightning and thunder occur during evenings. This type of summer showers are not generally seen in the past. Is it rlated to the global warming or high mercury level in the locality ? T.M.Sankaran Gold Member, SPK

The weather change in Kerala is very confusing these years. Now flood and droughts are common in Kerala. Temperature in summer is getting intolerable. So many factors made the situation worst. The Hydro-electric Projects are having trouble with less water in dam.Deforestation makes a lot of problems. Removal of excessive ground water is another problem. The decline in rain during monsoon is another cause to it.
