We can't say that these common people are senseless. Actually they want their rights here. Nobody told them that the highway would be expanded in the future. Although government is ready to pay more than the cost of the properties, still they face many problems.
1. They will face problems related to their residence. The government is not going to give them the places to make a new home or shop. And government will not be constructing homes for them.
2. The shops and shopkeepers won't be getting a strong foot for business in other areas.
But this expansion policy is one of the important foot step in the development of our State. Therefore, this policy to happen, we need some time. The government should give these people enough time gap to make new shops and houses.

if it is expanded by 60 meters atleast another 20 years it will be safer for the roadside property owners.otherwise still there is a possibility.there is again liquid natural gas pipeline is coming from kalamasserry to thiruvanathapuram with gas recieving station at nangiarkulangara for NTPClandowners were noticed 3 years in advance and the GAIL already filed caveat in the court to make clear of any obstacles that may rise.
