What happen to Smart city?

Smart city is a plan of Kerala government to bring and develop an IT town ship in Kerala. Kerala government has decided to start this venture in Kochi. Originally discussion about Smart city project has been starting from 2004. Unfortunately now 8 years have gone. What is the present condition of Smart city? Is it become reality in our state or it to be an imaginary news. Political parties have use bringing project like Smart city as their offer in time of Election. But after the election political parties are failed to keep their promise to citizens. What is the reason behind the late launching of Smart city project in our state? Who is responsible for these late in bringing such good economic revolution in our state? If these trends are continues, how can our state developed?

Before 1 year or 5 months ago the daily news channels has only one news that is about Smart City. Our Kerala is like this if any channel got a news or a very popular topic which trend others where lead for 3 or 4 days after it end the subject and close the topic. If the Smart city came in our Kerala then it will be a new step to the development of our state. Its proud for Malayalee. But the topic about Smart City is closed and no one is thinking about especially politics.
