The 4 years of ldf govrnment

V.S Achuthananthan and his crew completed their fourth year as Ministers. And now one more year to go.The completion of the fourth year was accompanied by the opposition of almost all the newspapers. They are eager to show the unfulfilled promises of the Government. It seems that there is only one important media to support them; that is none other than the Government itself. They claim that they have been doing things better than any Government.
Discuss here; What do you thing about the four years of LDF Government? Are they able to complete at least our necessities? Or it was full of unnecessary disputes between the Ministers and between other party members? Jot your opinion here.

Nobody can fulfill any promises. promises will flow to come in the last quarter of this year so that it will become the responsibility of the next government.if the same people come back, they would say, they never said so, it is media manipulation. in tamilnadu one tv set is given per ration card irrespective of income. in UK, THE GOVT PAYS
financial gift to all senior citizens to celebrate christmas. can we do all this here?then it will beme god's country not god's own country

Of course nobody can fulfill any promises. But almost everybody can fulfill half of the promises. Here, during the last 4 years it was not the completion of promises, but it was some controversies among the Ministers itself. They failed to fulfill even the much concerned SMART CITY policy. In fact they are in the front to conduct harthals forgetting that they are the ruling party

Many ministries came into power since 1956 after Kerala became a state.None of them fulfilled the election promises whether it is left or right. The promises are just a gimmick to steal our votes.

Look at our many of the politicians. They are only interested to save their chairs. They just pick up some local parties and make Munnani and contest in election. They get only time to hold them together.Daily politics of Kerala is almost reduced to cheap game. They are not interested in the overall growth of the state. Many of them do not know what is happening around. They do not know how our young generation is getting changed.

There are two things viz.product and service. We are not producing many things. But we can give service to who are producing. To give good
service we need proper education. Our universities are teaching with
outdated syllabus. These politicians and trade unionists are also there to block everything. With these set up if they rule for 40 years also years no use.

95% of the Government employees are a worst lot. They have vested interest. They block ruling parties promises from getting materialized. These guys do not know even to collect the Central Government allotted funds in time and utilise.

Most of the people want everything free and subsidized.

Harthal are becoming Bandh. People are enjoying it as a holiday like.

Just by seeing the reports in news papers or other media one cannot reach into a conclusion about the functioning of a Government. In a democratic set up where party politics dominates everything else nothing more can be expected from multi party fronts.
At the same time there are several things happening at the root level.
In a rural country like ours majority are living in villages. The local selfGovernments, Panchayaths, are now in a position to do several things towards the uplift of the people there. the decentralised set up in Kerala is genuinly doing wonders in different parts. The development can be seen there as far as the living conditions of the rural people are concerned.
In all sectors changes are noticeable.

Tha main pinpoints that can be emphasized are they could stop the inflow of fake notes into the real estate world. So almost could control the rising value of the lands. Second thing could reduce the scams. Third thing they could something for the environmental protection. In all other segments the result is zero especially agriculture, health, education ...etc.

    Hi Joshi,
What you pointed are some of the things our government should take care of. I thing the health Ministry and educational department are the greatest blunders of this government.
