Spreading fever

Posted Date: 10 Jun 2010      Posted By:: T.M.Sankaran     Member Level: Gold    Member Rank: 25     Points: 1   Responses: 6

Now, with the outset of monsoon different types of fever complaints are getting registered in hospitals. Some of them are dangerous also. This has become almost an annual phenomenon. Is there no solution, a permanent one, for this?

The dangerous diseases spreading in Kerala can be prevented to some extent by making awareness among the people through media's like television, radio and newspaper. The local authorities should also take effective steps to control them.

Syam.

Fever has been a common visitor for all the years during monsoon season. But it has got this new, dangerous and life taking form from the last two years. The problem is caused from the unhygienic conditions in our State.

We need to make necessary footsteps to tackle this issue.
There are many monsoon flooding sites in our state. The roads are the main site of this kind. This provides an excellent spot for the mosquitoes to breed and there are more chances of getting affected by other diseases.

Much of the diseases are spread by mosquitoes, so we need to check them. It will be great if the water containing spots near the households and towns are cleaned before monsoon.

Preventive measures like tablets can be given to the mass, if they are available.

Most of all, the awareness programs are the mostly required one. The common man should have enough knowledge about the diseases, it's mode of spreading and the methods to prevent the spreading of diseases like this.

The fever is now at it's peak. But the state government and health ministry is not ready to accept this fact. And it is still worse to know that the Government is saying that this spreading fever is the fake production of Media. I don't know why we elected her?

The fever is taking it's toll. In the last week itself, there are around 10 deaths in the state.

Hi tiyemes,
First of all let me say its a great problem as far as Kerala is concerned.

Much of these are spreading due to our carelessness. Just by breeding of mosquitoes there are more than twenty different types of fever.

Personal cleanliness plays a great role in preventing such dedly diseases.

Regards
Sreedeep

Can reduce fever and other infection to an extend by using mask and not getting into crowds for unnecessary purpose.

The precautions should be taken before the monsoon comes.
If somebody caught fever the government will take immediate action.
This is not the right way.

Government should create awareness among people
through different activities like gramasabha and all and according to localities cleaning activities should be done, for this purposes " thozhilurappu programmes can be used , should provide medicines for prevention.

more than that we people should be aware about the cleanliness of our locality and cleaning programmes should be carried out

more then that teachers of our schools can create an awareness among students, under the assistance of village people students can also participate in the cleaning programmes

through these programmes we can reduce fever and its after effects
