At the launching event of the flagship smartphone, Mi4, Xiaomi's chief executive Lei Jun announced that it aimed to challenge the upcoming iPhone 6. Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun strategically attacked iPhone 6 by comparing the design and manufacturing process of the Mi4 against the Apple smartphone.

Meanwhile, iPhone 6 is set to take center stage this fall packed with new and improved features. As usual, Apple is still mum about the details of the smartphone.

Growth of China as a manufacturing hub is tremendous. Today China is the world's largest producers of manufactured goods and using its manufacturing engine to boost living standards of the people by doubling the GDP per capita over the last decade.
During Independence Day speech, our PM also stressed the need for making India a manufacturing hotspot. The bad infrastructure and inflexible labor law are the main hindrance to the move.
Let us hope, in near future we can see a drive in this direction.
