Radio friend meet in Kakkanadu
The radio of 1980's did not just air programmes. They stuck nails on the wall of sound to hang memories on. The creed of all India Radio listeners is still active. Recently, some of the "radio friends" from different parts of Kerala, under the ages of the All Kerala Radio Listeners Association gathered at the PWD Rest House in Kakkanad to relive the glorious days of the past.In addition to playing favorites and dedications, radio took pages of our ordinary days and through microphone magic, made them dazzle and electric.It painted the backdrop for the heartbeat of a young nation.
